The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Admit Cards for the GD Constable 2026 examination. With over 25,487 vacancies across Paramilitary forces like BSF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and AR, this is one of the biggest recruitment events of the year.

SSC GD 2026 Exam Schedule: The 4-Phase Cycle
To manage the massive number of applicants, the SSC is conducting the exam in four distinct weekly phases. Note that your admit card will be available for download exactly 4 days before your specific exam date.

How to Download SSC GD Admit Card 2026
The Commission releases the admit cards region-wise. You must visit the website of the region you selected during the application process (e.g., NR, CR, WR, etc.).
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to ssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to Admit Card: Click on the “Admit Card” tab at the top of the homepage.
- Select Your Region: Choose the URL for your specific regional office.
- Login: Enter your Registration ID/Roll Number and Date of Birth (or your Name, Father’s Name, and DOB if you forgot your ID).
- Download & Print: Once your status appears, click on “Download Admit Card.” Print it on A4-sized paper. Ensure the barcode and your photograph are clearly printed.
What to Carry to the Exam Centre?
Entry is strictly monitored. You must carry the following documents, or you will be barred from the examination:
- Printed Admit Card: The latest version downloaded from the SSC portal.
- Original Photo ID Proof: Aadhaar Card, Printout of E-Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, or PAN Card.
- Passport Size Photos: Two recent color photographs (identical to the one uploaded in the form).
- Face Mask: While restrictions have eased, some centers may still require a basic mask for entry.
Note: If your ID proof does not have your full Date of Birth (Date, Month, Year), you must carry an additional original certificate (like a 10th Class Marksheet) as proof of DOB.
Quick Tips for Exam Day
- Reporting Time: Reach the venue at least 60–90 minutes before the time mentioned on your admit card. The gates close strictly 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Electronic Gadgets: Mobile phones, digital watches, calculators, and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited. Even pens are usually provided at the center.
- Biometric Verification: Be prepared for mandatory thumb impression and iris scanning at the entry point.
