Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- 10+2 (PCM): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Mandatory JEE Requirement: To be eligible for TES-56, candidates must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2026. The shortlisting will be strictly based on the Common Rank List (CRL).
2. Age Limit (As of January 1, 2027)
A candidate must not be below 16½ years and above 19½ years on the first day of the month in which the course commences.

Selection Process: How You Become an Officer
The selection for TES-56 is a rigorous, multi-stage process that evaluates both your technical knowledge and leadership personality:
- Shortlisting: Applications are shortlisted based on the JEE Mains 2026 CRL and 12th PCM marks. The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) fixes the cut-off percentile.
- SSB Interview (5 Days): Shortlisted candidates are called to one of the Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar). This includes Psychology tests, GTO tasks, and a Personal Interview.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB undergo a thorough medical fitness test.
