Important Changes Introduced for the June 21 Re-Test
To enhance candidate comfort and improve execution standards, the NTA has implemented several student-friendly structural modifications for the June 21 test cycle:
- 15-Minute Time Extension: The total exam window has been systematically increased to 195 minutes (up from 180 minutes). This extra time buffers mandatory classroom administrative procedures—such as distribution verification and attendance biometric signatures—ensuring students get their full time to solve the paper.
- Expanded Rough Work Space: The question paper booklet format has been re-engineered to feature four rough-work pages instead of two.
- Optimized Page Placement: To assist left-handed candidates and improve overall usability, two rough pages are now placed immediately after the instruction script at the front of the booklet, while the remaining two reside at the end.
