The National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), a premier Navratna Public Sector Undertaking, has officially released its recruitment notification for Management Trainees (MT) and Field Representatives for the 2026 cycle. With a total of 61 vacancies (21 for Management Trainees and 40 for Field Representatives), this is a significant opportunity for engineering, marketing, and finance professionals to build a career in the fertilizer sector.

Vacancy Distribution (Management Trainee)
The 21 Management Trainee positions are distributed across several technical and non-technical disciplines:
- MT (Marketing): 13 Posts
- MT (Finance & Accounts): 03 Posts

- MT (Information Technology): 01 Post

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- MT (Marketing): MBA/PGDBM/PGDM in Marketing/Agri-Business/Rural Management OR B.Sc Agriculture with M.Sc Agriculture.
- MT (Technical – Electrical/Chemical/IT): B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc Engineering in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- MT (Finance & Accounts): CA/CMA OR MBA/PGDM in Finance.
- MT (Materials): B.Tech in Mechanical/Material Science OR MBA in Materials/Logistics/Supply Chain.
2. Age Limit (As of April 30, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 27 Years (for General/EWS)
- Relaxation: OBC (NCL) +3 years, SC/ST +5 years, PwBD +10 years.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection for Management Trainees involves a two-stage process: an Offline OMR-Based Test followed by a Personal Interview.
Written Exam Pattern:
- Total Questions: 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours).
- Section 1 (Discipline Related): 100 Questions.
- Section 2 (Aptitude/General): 50 Questions (includes Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, and General Awareness).
- Negative Marking: No negative marking.
Salary and Training
Selected Management Trainees will undergo one year of training. During this period, they are placed in the E-1 Pay Scale (₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000). Upon successful completion of training, the approximate in-hand salary (including IDA, HRA, and perks) ranges between ₹55,000 to ₹68,000 per month.
